Florentina Constanta
A photographer by circumstances, Florentina is a traveler who takes us with her in her journey around the visible world. Her pictures are an expression of life and hope most of the time, a combination of old and new, of exotic and familiar, of the place next to us which we may have never seen.
She started taking pictures only 4 years ago convinced by her best friend that she should document her trips. The beginning was very shy, the quality of the pictures poor, mostly due to technical reasons but the places she has seen deserved a place in hers and others memory. Last year, with her new Canon 350D, a new level in her photography was reached; the pictures were more daring, more mature, speaking to the viewer in a very personal way, transmitting her own feelings and emotions. The learning experience from the photographers participating in the "Picture the Cure" exhibit was tremendous and is still ongoing.
