Phillip Chee
Phillip Chee is an amateur photographer keenly interested in documenting the world around him. A biologist and philosopher by training, he is trying to reconcile the tension between Town and Country both in life and in his photography.
His photography includes landscapes, architecture, urban fragments and the quotidian facets of everyday life. He first picked up a camera at the age of nine and thirty years later is excited by the possibilities of digital photography.
He grew up in Etobicoke, Ontario but now lives and works in Peterborough, Ontario. "I am currently in the process of exploring my world visually, attempting to document and explain it in the context of my own interpretations of art, history, and popular culture."
